Subject: Intense Heat from Rotor plate IP: Logged
Message: Has anyone had the same problem is the plate getting so hot that it smell like metal is burning on metal? When I'm in heavy traffic and being more excessive on the both pedals when passing and then haveing to slow down for a traffic light or driving about 70 for more than 15 min I noticed that the plate gets very hot.
I checked to see if the caliber was the problem by not backing off the plate when driveing; so I jacked up on side and spun the wheel around. And there was just a bit of tightness. But I think this was due because of the transfercase.

Message: unless its really a pungent smell. The wheel bearing burning smell (which you will never forget) its normal. keep an eye on the pads and make sure the caliper slides easily.

Message: Janesy shut your stinking Canadian @ss up.
I got a call from your lesbian B!tch and she ask(then begged)for some very strong disinfect spray such as Lysol to spray your @ss.
My answer was simple. I told her to drag your tight B!tch @ss in shower and give it a scurb with some soap and suds.
@STS
Just as long as you don't see any grooves on your plate. Theres no need to worry. They normaly get hot enough to boil water.

Learn to spell words like MODEL correctly and learn proper automotive nomenclature. WTF is a "ROTOR PLATE?
And for the love of Christ, stop answering your own troll posts. You're just proving that you're the biggest fukking moron here.
Now back in the fields you dirty spic bastard. You ain't been pardoned yet, boy.
