I don't know who the hell that other "gus" is, but he's giving the rest of us Gus' a bad name. He's obviously a fake. Don't be mislead imposters. Any real Gus would capitalize his name.

INTERSTATE all the way.

I was sold on Interstate after I purchased a Caprice Classic off an old women. She had all her reciepts and service records on the car. She had bought the car new and put three batteries in it. The first 2 were AC Delcos from the dealer. The original and the 2 replacement AC Delco's all failed in 1-1/2 years. Her 3rd and last battery was an INTERSTATE. She bought that battery in OCT. 1997. I purchased the car in Aug. 2000. The battery is still in the car. The car has set several times for as long as 3 months at a time. It shows no signs of getting weak. Since the purchase of this car I have put INTERSTATE batteries in everything I own and I haven't had one fail yet. I would replace the one in the 1993 Caprice, but I want to see how long it will last. It's already 3 years out of warranty.

Since I have had such succes with this battery my Dad even got one for his Cummins Diesel Dodge. He goes through batteries in that thing like their going out of style. So far, he has had the INTERSTATE in his Diesel for 2 years.

My company purchased an Interstate battery back in October. The company car was having electrical problems which drained the battery. Interstate tested the battery and replaced the whole unit in 10 minutes. I will use them when I need a new battery. Sold on Interstate!

Anymore I go to Auto Zone or Wal Mart. Never have had any problems, and the few I know who have any problems these companies make any adjustments without any questions asked. I have used Auto Zone Marine Batteries (Johnson Controls)in my R.V. and the first set lasted double the warranty life. These companies are nationwide, and offer great pricing. Try and find an Interstate Dealer in some towns, then try and find a Wal Mart if there isn't one in town everyone will know where the closest one is and give you directions to the front door.

mrbaddakota,
I guess your not familiar with gas stations, service stations, Western Auto, Firestone Dealers, etc.,etc., etc.... A lot of these are open 24/7.....

I just did a search for my zip code at www.interstatebatteries.com and I came up with 97 locations. I have to admit, that even blew me away. I was expecting at least 40, but not 97. There's not even 97 Wal-marts in the entire State of TN. I just located 97 interstate battery dealers within reasonable commute from my house! What's even better, 1/3 of these locations are independents that work with companies like AAA road service. THEY WILL COME TO YOU AND INSTALL THE BATTERY. Wal-Mart could care less. Go ahead and get your bargain Wal-Mart/AZ battery, I still have a 7 year old Interstate in my Caprice going strong.
