At 20,000 miles I put in Bosch Platinum +2, Wells brass terminal cap & new rotor.
Ran great for 10,000 miles.
At 48,000 I switched back to the stock cap and rotor and stock plugs because it was running like absolute crap and getting horrible mileage. The Wells rotor looked like a hand grenade went off inside it. The tips of the Bosch plugs were melted and black.
1,000 miles in and I've picked up 5 MPG. 90% of my driving is highway so that's significant. Just an FYI for those interested. Also Castrol Syntec oil is sh!t but that's another subject.

Message: I put Bosch Platinum plugs in my Pontiac and after 12,000 kms, the center electrodes were worn so bad they were recessed into the porcelian. There was just a hole where it used to. Never seen anything like that before.

Message: Not sure of this but Bosch Platinum is probably a hotter burning spark plug. If not used in the proper application, they will burn things up, check your pistons for burning too. With magnum heads on these Dodges a hotter plug is not required because of higher compression ratio.
As for Castrol, my friend uses Syntec in his Pontiac with a supercharger and his performance is excellent. I have used Castrol GTX in my Dakota and had no problems.
