 Subject: buzzer removal

my 95 dakota extended cab SLT 4X4 has a buzzer that goes off to warn you that the doors are open, the lights are on, the ignition is on, and so on. its a really annoying tone, so i stuck my head under the dash and found the little box that makes the noise. i pulled it out and threw it in the glove box. is it alright to do that? or am i gonna blow a fuse or two?

nope. but youll consider putting it back in the first time you lock those keys in there. Did the same thing on my old truck

It won't hurt anything...but I do have an extra key in case I get locked out.
