 Subject: Stupid Question!

What should exhaust clamps be torqued to? An internet question that doesn't seem to bring up a lot of hits. Secondly, my Magnaflow female ends are slotted (I'm not talking about the notch for the cat) I'm thinking that maybe because this thing is SS you clamp around the slots and they grip the inner pipe like a claw. Yes or no? Thank you!

I would just pay the 20 bucks and have an exhaust shop to weld it. Personal opinion.

Claw? Yes. Exhaust flanges 24 ft/lbs. U-bolts for the pipes...35 ft/lbs.
