And, if you don't believe me, here are a couple of links about the poor paint quality:

If its chipping, I wouldn't give up that easily Eddy. No chips on my 2000 with white paint, sometimes they find out certain colors are a problem.

Eddy, what you tolerate is your business. It's bullcrap that you pay 25,000 or what ever and in a few months you have more chips than something 5 years old. My damn 95 Dakota with 220,000 MILES ON IT has only a few tiny chips on the front of the hood! AND I NEVER HAD A BUG SHIELD ON IT! And the rockers are also in decent shape! I'd take that thing to them and cry til the sheep came home. Many dealers DO NOT care about you! I've dealt with 4 different Dodge dealers in 10 years and 2 of them tried to screw me and bullcrap me and put things off til the warranty was up! Not a good percentage! It pees me off, now I've gotta tell you about 1 of them scumbag dealers. Tacoma Dodge in down town Tacoma, WA! Those faggots tried to tell me that a clutch that chattered upon and during engagement was normal for many modern small pickups! I told them I drove standards all my life and had WORN OUT pressure plates that worked better than this NEW Dakota! When I say new, I mean 200 miles on it! I took it back to them the 3rd day I owned it! I got it documented! When I complained that they need to test drive it instead of me trying to explain it to them they said OK, but I had to drive it! How in hell is a mechanic gonna feel a clutch if he don't drive it himself!? I complained and argued with them for 2 YEARS and got my complaints DOCUMENTED 4 TIMES! I finally took the thing to Olympia Dodge in Olympia, WA when the thing started to pop out of 3rd gear at 45,000 miles. I told them all about my clutch problem, and could they check it, since it was apart anyway to fix 3rd gear. I told them that I was driving to Alaska in 2 weeks and hoped it was right before I left, because my warranty was almost gone. A few days later he called and said my truck was done and he found the pressure plate WAS bad since new, based on my DOCUMENTED complaints, and he had installed a new plate, clutch disc and throwout along with the tranny fix. Cost? $50 deductible. He was an honest dealer who could've shrugged it off! He even knew I wasn't returning , I was leaving the area and NOT a future customer, and STILL took care of me! That's pride in your business, folks! Too bad more dealers didn't have it! Screw it people, if you want to put up with inadequate service and products, have at it. Not this cowboy! Eddy, what you tolerate is your business, but my dealers have to earn my respect, or I'll hound them til it hurts. Many people don't understand nice, you gotta cowboy up sometimes, and tell them in a way they can understand it.
