I have a 93 dakota with the big ol elephant ear mirrors. The problem is that at highway speeds, the passenger side mirror gets pushed in by the wind. I assume that there a loose/stripped nut somewhere, but I'm not for sure. Anybody know a solution? I would like to put on some street scene mirrors that are more aerodynamic and better looking, but do they make them for the gen II dak's? Thanks!

my 93 had the same problem. are the mirrors power? If not you can get the little black manual ones on the gen II they look pretty decent, and u can get them at any junk yard. you may be able to get them in power, but I haven't seen any that i can remember. Dont know if street scene makes them for gen II sorry.

well my mirrors on my dak have not yet needed adjustment, however my van did. there should be a adjustment screw in the base that holds the mirror to the door. it clamps around the metal pole that the mirror mounts to.
