Autolite 3923's for these Magnum engines. NO Bosch PLATINUM's.

It all depends on how far you are going to take the performance track.I have the Bosch platinum
plus 4 in mine and i have seen an increase in
mpg, performance with any plug alone is generally
butt dynoed.Mopar performance parts list a Bosch
platinum plug for our engines although it is only
a single ground electrode. The only engine in the
magnum lineup that cannot (at present) use platinum is the 4.7.The main benefit of plat. plugs is that you don't have to pull them every
5000 to 6000 miles to regap them and that they
will last for 40000+ miles. If you are going to go all out performance YES by all means use copper
otherwise??? MY opinion

Shawn,
When you installed your Gibson Cat-back did you have to remove the spare tire? They state that you might have to on 4X4 applications. Just wondering if it is true?

Adam,
I have a '00,3.9, auto and put the 3923's in it about 500 miles ago. I lost all top end but gained some low end grunt. The mpg's went up about 1/2 mpg. I gained( not lost) .8 in the 1/4 mile. They are not for every engine. You might want to try them, it costs less than $10. to play with them. I will be trying the Champion rc10ylc4 next to see what happens. The 3923's in MY truck are not acceptable.

Mike 00......no you don't.
I have flowmaster duals on mine (straight out the back) and I can still keep the spare in the old place, I put it in the bed for looks, easy access (mud) and (at least mentally) I get slightly better mpg. I have a 97 4x4.

Mike,
I GAINED .8 in the 1/4. It took more time to get thru the clocks. I wished it was quicker but it is SLOWER- by a lot.
