I just need to vent so bare with me. I went to a large car and truck show today, about 200 cars. Well they were giving away 100 trophies, so i thought i had a good chance with my flamed Dak, well i guess i was wrong. The only people that get a trophy are over 65years old, and have a car that every other old guy has. There were 10 69' Corvette's all the same except different colors, and they all got one. I was the only guy to have a newer truck besides a 2001 Harley F150, but that was it, and he didn't get a trophy. It really ticked me off, that i had something like nothing else in the lot, and i was not picked. Thanks, i feel better now.

the majority of the shows I go to are sponsored by street rod clubs. So, naturally, all the 50+ y/o's are going to win. My father in law goes to alot of them. They have shows here by my appt like every other weekend. Last weekend Cash Money records had a huge show. Needless to say, I didn't go to it =] I did here the friggin bass for 2 days straight!!!!

No, wasn't a Chevy show, but i would have felt better if it was. Well, the thing with this was they company where we had it hired 3 judges from a different state, so no one really knew who they were.

Here in NC most shows have been divided. One day only pre 1974 vehicles will be judged and on the next day newer ones get their chance.
