Look fellas there is enough,infighting on here about whose engine is wore powerfull and whos 4x4 is the best and whose 2wd is faster.The R/T guyes try to slam the 4.7 guyes an vice versa,my point is no matter what engine they have or if they are 4wd or not the one thing they all have in common is the little emblem on them that says Dakota.We are all on here because we love our trucks and instead of trying to tear each other down we should all help each other out.If you think a post is stupid so what,the person that wrote it more than likley doesnt think so,just dont respond to it.The more people we slam the fewer people are gonna come to this site,thinking we are all a bunch of jerks,and Ill tell ya we have a bunch of them on here,but we also have guyes on here like Hawkeye,Blizzard,SavaTruck,DakUSA,Bernd,Glen,and Hop that are more than happy to help people out and make to make this site and DakotasUSA the best it can possibly be.We all have to remember not everyone is not the same we all have diffrent taste,hell me and Hawk are like brothers and we dont always like the same thing even though are trucks are almost identical.Lets just remember one thing,no matter what you like or dislike about one another or you like the 4.7 over the 5.9,4wd or 2wd,generation1 or 3,DAKOTAS RULE!!!!!!

Got to throw a nickel in on this one and agree 100%. So here's my $.05. Take all the crap somewhere else or learn how to disagree agreeably. A good discussion of different experiences is great. But cussing each other out and the name calling and the rest of the BULL$&IT needs to go!! Some posts are staring to sound like a bunch of 12 year kids arguing in a school yard. Come on guys, everyone has something useful to say even if you might not agree with it. Just voice your thoughts like an adult.

Well guys Im sorry, I had just had enough a of all the bull that has become more and more common place on here.When this site was started it truley was a place that you could come to and get some useful help,ideas,and advice,but a bad element has seemed to have ruined it and it seems like instead of people helping one another it is now a big pissing contest.I say lets take this site back and make it what it was ment to be and ignore all negitive post and all the b.s. and just start helping others.Sorry guyes it just a touchy subject with me!!!!!

I agree 100%. Like Viper, I was getting a little tired of a lot of the negative comments...dry wit and biting sarcasm are okay, but there was just some downright rude and borderline cruel comments. Not that I'm into all that touchy-feely lets all have a group hug kinda crap. Hell, in my profession we kill people and break things for a living. But there's got to be some sort of balance here on the boards...hmmm...let's see...how can I kill people, break things, and make the survivors feel like I've just done them a huge favor?

We just want this to be a fun and informative place to come to. Not one where crap is being thrown around everywhere. People are not going to hang around here if they come on and all they see is a bunch of trash talking. Having fun and joking around and ribbing each other is great. Just keep it half way clean and fun.
Dan, been there, done that. The breaking things was so much fun. I sure did have low stress levels then. Wonder if my local gun range would mind if I set off a couple of claymores. You think??

Go for it! Just be sure to replace the targets afterward and I'm sure they won't mind. And remember to look on the outside of the claymore for the warning: "this side towards enemy." Otherwise things could get a little messy.
I've been thinking about practicing pistol marksmanship from my moving truck in front of convenience stores. I think it's a great training opportunity for me and my soldiers. I tried to set up something like that on the range here at MacDill AFB but they wouldn't buy off on it.

Im glad a lot of people agree and it was not just me.Hawk and I have had many of talks about this and we have said its a shame that people who have a common ground take so many negitive shots at the other.Im all for having fun ,thats what it is all about.Being mean spirited and hateful just degrade a very good site that we have all got good info from.and Dan all I have to say is KILEM ALL LET GOD SORT THEM OUT.remember there are very few problems that cant be solved with a sutible application of high exsplosives!!!!!!also Blue I agree 4.7s rule but only if its in a QUAD!!!hehehe

Dan, We used to joke about that in Basic, how many people did it take pointing it the wrong way before they printed that on the side???? Nothing quite like blowing yourself into a puff of red mist to ruin a weekend.
