I in no way support illegal racing, but once in a while, the redlight challenge just happens, so you make the best of it. The last one i had was against a convert viper like a 99 or something, beat him by about 2 car lengths, didn't even use the bottle, feels pretty good to smoke something like that in a pickup, he was a good sport about it. Any body else have any cool redlight wars.

For a minute there it sounds like your doubting me. Just trying to have some fun, hear some cool stories. My best ET is 11.81,my best trap speed is 120mph, these were not on the same run. My horsepower i'm guessing is getting close to 700 at the motor. Figure out how much power it takes to get 4400lbs down the track @ 120mph. And yeah, i did smoke the viper.

The best kill I had with my truck was a guy in a 4.6 gt mustang. He was trying to race me one friday night from about a 20 mph start. I will only race off the light, not on a moving start. I couldnt catch a light with him and we both gave up. The next night I was driving down the same street and I could hear somthing coming up fast behind me. It was that same mustang but this time we got a red light. I spanked him hard. We cought another light after that and I spanked him again. Every time I see this guy now he turns around and drives away. I guess he couldnt take it being beat buy a pick up.

To be honest, i have done all the work to my motor, with help from buddies, but this motor has a completely stock bottom end,rods,pistons and crank. I have had over 40 runs , running 7#of boost and a 150 shot of nitrous, on this setup. The only problem i've had so far, which i'm fixing as we speak, is i fried the piston rings in cyl#5 last time out, I upped the nitous to 210shot and upped the boost to 9#. In doing all this, i forgot to put in even colder plugs, and didn't add enough fuel pressure. You live and learn, but if you tune these motors right, they will live on stock parts. I've been running NOS and the Blower for 1/1/2 years already. I"m sure it will go another 40 runs no prob. Hope this answers some of your questions. Happy Truckin.

Hey blue bullet, didn't I see your truck on ebay a couple weeks ago. Just wondering if u were gonna keep it now. That is an awesome truck. Looks sweet. I am currently running a 120 shot and am glad to hear that the motor will live on the stock internals. I have no internal mods. and am running 12.80's.

Yeah, it was on ebay, i was just curious to see if people would buy a truck like this, but it turns out the bids were pretty hurting, oh well. Thanks for the compliment. Your motor will be fine with a 120 shot, just keep it on the rich side,use a colder heat range spark plug, and and all will be well. 12.80, right on, thats haulin, any dakota thats 14's and under should be proud, thats an awesome accomplishment, it takes alot to move these beasts.
