Message: Just trying to continue issue of noisy front bushings on a new thread instead of clogging up the "Dakotas in the news" thread.
boB., are you saying it`s the outer bushings making noise and not the inner ones?

Message: Yeah, that's what it was on my truck. I started there, thinking I would do the inner bushings later. But then didn't need to go any further. Fortunatly, it's quick and easy.

Message: Thanks for the reply boB. Next chance I get I`ll clean and grease em with synthetic grease. You said it was an easy job. Do I have to jack up the front or anything or just pull em apart?

Message: Jack up the front end and put jack stands under the frame rails. Then unbolt the retainer cap from the the lower A-arm, and jack up the A-arm about 1" or so. The bushing will slide right off the end of the bar. It will be pretty obvious when you look at it.
