Hi Guys -

I need to know if anyone has put on a set of stock 16x8
GenIII rims on a GenII 4X4. I need to know if there are any
spacing issues and or rubbing of the rims with any part of
the braking system and or wheel wells.

Any help would GREATLY appreciated.

thank you in advance

Can't help you with the 16s, but have had factory 15X8 and now have factory 17X9 on my '95 4X4. The 15s rubbed on a brake caliper bolt, but with a little grinding, they cleared. The 17s are fine. As long as you use factory wheels, there's no issue about backspacing. The size of the tire controls rub and 31" is about as big as you can go with just a little trimming on the air dam and lower fender flare.
