Subject: 4x4, RT?-Houston?

Going south on 288 last friday, 12/12/03, in heavy traffic, saw a CC, white, Dak, 4x4, with RT stickers!
It had the Magnum v8 emblem near the headlight, so must have been a 5.2, or I guess a 5.9, that's why he put RT stickers on it! It had duals out the back, whoo.

I wish we would have had room, I'd a run him with my 4.7, ....5speed..... Quad cab. he'd have needed heavy mods to pull away from me from a roll.

Anybody know him, and what's up with that truck?

More "Badge Engineering". I know a guy who took the front bumper cover, taillights, and emblems from a Ford Lightning, and made his own F-150 4x4 "Lightning", (stock 5.4 under the hood). Saw a new Ram at a car show with the Durango puffy "5.9 R/T" emblems on the doors. At least they got the DNA right. I just know that HEMI emblems on a Tundra would turn my stomach.

Sorry, haven't seen it.

There is a blue Gen II with a grey stripe I've been curious about down here though.

I'll keep an eye out for it.

EBL, you around the Houston Metroplex?

I only saw it once, thought it was kind of funny, a 4x4, a Grille Guard hanging off the bumper, and R/T stickers, while it was raised, looked like a stock 4x4, with a little bigger tires.

Yup. I live north of the city, but have to drive down to work in the city.

I'm typing this just outside the Galleria waiting for the traffic to go away.
