Subject: Wimpy Horn IP: Logged
Message: The horn on my 2003 doesn't seem sufficiently loud or low-pitched to me. In fact, it seems downright wimpy. I had to lean on it the other day when someone pulled out in front of me and I was rather disappointed. Has anyone else noticed this?

Message: i dont know if all of them are like that, but i would guess that your low horn is not working. Which is causing it to sound weak.

Message: there is only one horn and all dodge trucks have that wimpy horn...I've tried several different horns but none sound appealing to me...so if you find one let me know! I'm thinking about going to a junk yard and taking one out of a ford...hate to say that! but I had a ford crown vic when I first got my license and man! that thing had one hell of a horn in it

Message: My 01 cc has 2 but it's possible that in another move to cut costs some bean counter eliminated one of the horns.
Just go to the dealership and tell them you want a better horn. I'm sure the parts guy can fix you up.
