Subject: Need Help!!! Whirring noise when I turn
IP: Logged

Message:
I own a stock 2001 4.7L QC. In the last week or so, I've noticed a whirring sound coming from the rear of my vehicle whenever I make a right or left turn, regardless of how tight the turn is. The noise gets louder at higher speeds. I'm guessing it's a bearing going bad somewhere, but thought I would ask the experts here on the board their thoughts on what the noise might be coming from.

Any ideas anyone???

Thanks for any help you can provide....

Its your rear differential. Probably LSD. Change the fluid. Synthetic if possible.
