i've got a 2003 QC SLT 4x4 ,i do not have the overhead information center option (compass etc) , just something that says "clip" what the hell is that thing for does it serve any useful purpose....just curious

It is a clip....kinda just like it says. Put money/paper/bussiness cards/etc. in there.
