I might be having a fiberglass factory hood made for my truck, which will leave me with a mold for others, and I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in a fiberglass flat hood, just like stock, but much lighter. Email me if you are interested

Will it retain hood latch or will it require hood pins? I might like one so I can cut a big hole in it so something can poke up through it.

I'm not sure yet, i will ask the guy i have do it whether or not he can do it so it retains the latches, because that would make it easier for me too, but i know for sure he can do pins, since he built the glass front end for my dad's barracuda

For the record, have you seen the R/T hood these guys offer?
http://www.aarqualityfiberglass.com/products.html
They have it pictured on a Gen 2, but they said it's identical otherwise.
These guys offer six Gen 1 hoods, Three use latch, three don't.

Haven't seen any flat ones like you're looking at doing, but it'd suit my needs better.
