 Subject: warranty question

I have a 2001 quad cab, and I just purchased a brand new in-dash 6-disc changer on E-bay. I am having some problems with this new unit skipping, and I cannot get the E-bay seller to refund or replace it. Since my truck is still under warranty, and since the radio is a dodge radio that is obviously from a 2002+ vehicle, do you think I can get a dealer to replace it as a warranty issue?

If it is not shown as factory equipted or dealer installed, it will be hard to find a dealer to replace it.

Like stubbs said if it's not on from the factory you can't warrenty it.I know work at a dealership ,but if you know someone at a dealer mabey.
