All this crap I keep hearing about milage is bull$hit. Talk about a bunch of whiny schoolgirls. I remember a little saying when I asked my grandpa how bad of milage his motorhome got, he replied " If you have to ask you can't afford it".
Its a V8 for christ sake if you want to bitch sell it and get a honda.

My truck has plenty of power for my purposes (02 QC AWD 4.7L Auto) and gets 16 mpg in mixed driving and 21 on the freeway. I'm happy as a jaybird (no, my pappy didn't make up that saying). :o)

Somone was posing as me in the previous post (03DaKoTa) I was just saying my grandpa told me that I know he did not make it up. Maybe The original post I presented was unclear. Quit bitchin about your damn fuel milage and get a honda. I bought my Dak with a V8 for the purpose of having a truck I could use I.E. towing,and four wheeling. I wanted a truck with some sack. Of course your going to get bad milage. So quit Phukin whinin and go buy a Ricer.

I know it sucks, whoever the hell you are, post your own name, you know why it sucks? Because i probably have the most powerful premagnum v6, its got the highest lift cam, new carb induction, race headers, true duals, and new springs and ported heads are being built right now. it must suck to get called a dick by an 18 year old, huh?

All I have to say is I had a low 12 second camaro that was 3800 lbs (not much lighter than my dakota) and dynoed at 471 hp that got better millage than my truck.

i bet the people that brag about gas mileage also have manual transmissions. An auto transmission uses gas to work.

I got a 3.9 that get 9mpg and a built 350 in a bigass monte carlo that gets 15mpg.There both fast so who cares.
