Subject: Online Dakota (OEM) Parts? IP: Logged
Message: Do you knowledable posters know of a online source for genuine Mopar parts for my Dakota? I am looking for a site that has exploded views of subsytems where you can see the part you need, obtain the P/N, then place it in a cart and purchase. Thanks for any help...

Message: i'd found a couple of sites but although the parts themselves were cheaper, by the time you add on the usually immense shipping, it was WAY cheaper to just go to the dealer. Unless anyone knows of any better sites out there. Good luck!

Message: ask for Dave Bosch in parts. all parts are 8% over cost. Just picked up a M1 for $296 plus shipping. If interested in viper fans, get the factory replacement one and not the p parts one. reason factory is a little cheaper and comes with a warranty. They are the same fan.

Message: bman42. I hate errands, and my dealer is a 20 minute ride away. I am willing to pay for the shipping for the convenience of having the parts dropped at my door. Where are those sites? Thanks

Message: the other site i found was mopar-parts-dealer.com. The only problem with the site is the inability to buy anything. I haven't been able to create an account to actually buy stuff. Brilliant website.
The tenafly site seemed good too.

Message: What timing, I tuned in today to ask if anyone knew of any discount Dodge parts and here it is. I had a very nice experience Saturday night, Truck parked at Home Depot, come out and left front headlight and turn signal lens broken. Some bonehead fixed it up nice. At least no body damage. Local Dealers want $ 215 for both, Tenafly list the part for $ 131 it should be a wash sales taxes vs. shipping.

Message: Hello posters,
I am new to this site and also have just recently purchased a 1989 dakota pickup. I am trying to put it back to mint, however am in need of a few parts. Does anyone know where I may find a set of Tan speaker grilles, or at best the right side (passenger side) grille. However the hardest part I am trying to find is, the black plastic bezel the goes over the inside door handle. The part numbers for the speaker grilles are. R/4364740 L/4364741. The part number for the bezel is R/L 55075261. Any help or guidence is greatly appericated. Thanks, Jeffrey

Message: i'd personally call the dealer first
most online sites = great prices, and then rape you with the shipping.
start with your dealer especially for parts like that

Message: Wyckoff(wackoff)Chrysler wasn`t bad.

Factory service manual(printed) $85.95.
Not a bad price, got some other stuff I was going to get anyways. Weather tech vent shades($80.96,not the best price),bracket for heater hoses(broke while changing plugs)$6.09, and four clips for air cleaner(one disappeared after trip to dealer,at $2.90 a piece, got four)
Total:$184.60 ,no tax, shipping $11.00. What I saved on taxes almost paid for shipping.
