The 12 volt port on the dash of my '03 Dakota is dead. Can anyone tell me where the fuse is? Thanks.

The fuse is in the distribution box (on the side of the dash) next to the driver's side door. The circuit should be marked on the inside cover.
Also, the ignition key has to be on in order for it to work.

I bought a smokers package for my 2002 Sport v6 cc. There is a 12v port in the dash and the lighter doesn't fit. Is it hard to replace the 12v port with a lighter port and where do you get the lighter port?

Thanks irq3 for the info. It didn't occur to me that the key had to be on for the port to be hot! I guess they are protecting the battery, but it's inconvenient for phone charging. With the heavy duty service option I got a HUGE battery. I love it!

My cig plug in the dash is only HOT when the key is on.
My cig plug in my console between my seats is HOT all the time for a cell phone, etc plus it keeps your cell phone hidden.
