I just recently got a copy of the '01 Service Manual and Body Diagnostics Procedure manual. After looking through it, it looks like all that would be required to wire the Lo beams to stay on with the Hi beams would be to short 2 pins (pins 6 & 9) on the wiring harness for the Multi-Function Switch (the turn-signal/hi-lo beam selector). The schematic shows that the switch is only sensed, and the CTM does the actual switching. Anyone care to try?

will this work for the 98 daks as well. If so I will give it a try. Is there any kinda images that you could put up as well.

I'm not sure if it uses the same setup. I can email some scans from the manual if you like, but I wouldn't recommend trying this unless you are sure the '98 is the same as the '01 for this part of the wiring (if it is different, it could be very bad to short out those 2 particular pins).
