Subject: Fog light Help IP: Logged
Message: Just got my 99 R/T back from the body shop where I had some repairs done. The main repairs were to the front end and now the fog lights do not work properly. I will take it back but I want to see if I can figure out the problem first, I was without my truck for over a month and want to avoid taking it back if possible... here's the issue. The fogs, wich worked perfectly before, stay on when wired up, even when the truck and switch are off (pushed in), I'm not sure how they are wired from the factory because I never looked, but currently they have a hot and a ground, is there an interrupt wire? or just the hot and the ground? and if so why is it that when the hot is off but the ground is left on then the little indicator light next to the light switch is lit meaning that the fogs are on (even when the switch is off)? When all wires are disconnected it goes off... any help will be appreciated.

Message: Constant power from power distrubution center feeds light blue wire on fog lights (20 amp fuse). Ground comes from pin 30 on fog lamp relay (light blue with black tracer).
Relay gets turned on ( !!!! ) from ground signal sent from headlamp switch feeding pins 87 + 85. Power is supplied to pin 86.
