Message: For some strange reason my headlights stopped working on my 94 Dodge Dakota sport. The lamps are fine, they are not damaged. The funny thing is, when i pull the switch for my lights to come on, all the dashboard lights do not come on and the rpm meter gets stuck where it is. I checked the fuses, and they are all fine. I don't know what could possibly be the problem, but if anyone has some ideas, or even a clue as to how much this would cost to fix, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks fellas.

Message: I know this is going to be a pain but the problem your having is a ground somewhere. you are going to have to start tracing wires from the switch to the dash to the headlights. some wires casing got cut and is grounding or the ground itself isnt making contact. i know this is a pain so use a amp/volt meter to diagnose each wire to narrow it down. if you dont know how bribe a friend or have someone do it who knows how. thats why electrical problems SUCK.

Message: I was leaving a show tonight got in started her up all is good but when I went to turn on my headlights I had nothing. The funny thing was that the dash light didn't work but the blinkers did. The tail lights were real dim I was told when I stepped on the brakes also the anti-lock and brake disc lights came on when I depressed the brakes and went out when I let up. I just replaced the waterpump and radiator on a trip I took a week ago and I notice some of the antifreeze was in one of the headlamps but they still worked then. Can you help anyone please. I'm broke and need help now.
Sincerely in the dark,
Lynn Brown

Message: i had something like that happen to me but my servive 4x4 light would come on the truck would randomly honk. Also the windshield wipers would turn on and off. Replaced the body control modual. its located in the kick panel on the driver side. (the makers and DC are rocket scientists to put a modual in a KICK panel.) you will have to go to dodge and get your remote lock reprogramed though.

Message: Sounds like a bad ground to me, there are a few ground wires along the frame, and cab I would check those and make sure they are good grounds.
Good Luck
