Message: I have a 95 2WD CC V8 and it looks like it is time to replace the rubber washers on the steering gear to frame linkage (not the insulators). The washers are falling apart. It looks like there are two bolts holding the rack in place. I think the steering gear to frame torque is 150 ft-lbs. How hard is it to do this replacement? I dont think so but do I have any alignment issues after doing this?
