 Subject: Difference between 03 and 04

I was wondering what are the differences between the 03 and 04 dakotas, if any. I am pretty sure that the 04 comes with 4 wheel disk brakes. I dont know if the 03 did. Thanks

No difference besides the brakes.....and the fact there is NO 04 R/T's.

ABS has nothing to do with it. Rear anti-lock(ABS)is standard.

The 03 m/y meant the end of the LA based engines and the introduction of the 3.7LV6 in the Daks. This also means the end of the R/T which is a shame but that will increase their resale value and hopefully DC will build a killer HemiDak for the 05 year.

You mean the only difference is four wheel disk
brakes? Hum, that means now we'll have four
warped rotors to worry about insted of two.
I'll hang on to my 02 that already needs front
rotors with 18k.

There is no difference at all between 03 and 04 besides the discontinued 3.9 and R/T. The 03s have 4 wheel disc brakes also.

My 2003 Stampede Club Cab has four wheel disk brakes with rear ABS (standard) only.

Radioman, the disks are bigger as well, glad I don`t have the old set up. I haven`t seen any posts with 03s warping yet.(watch I`ll be first now)
