i need to know if anyones 99 dakota has a rear sway bar mine does and the dealer says 99 did not come with it. i was hopeing some one could give me a second opinion. does anyone eleses 99 have have this bar? thanks

The rear sway bar can be ordered from any Dodge dealer parts dept.

There are thicker aftermarket sway bars available probably at a lower cost.

Yes!
My 99 Dakota has the tire and handling package, this includes the rear sway bar....
So the answer to your question is yes..

would the rear sway bar also be on the 4x4. reason i need to know is that the endlinks are bad and i have a warrenty from when i bought the truck in june. thing is the dealer says that 99's dont have it and it's after market, and they won't fix it. it does not look aftermarket. it's the same as the one on my son's 2000 two-wheel drive (non-R/T). what should i do?

Geez this is simple. Go to the parts department at the dealer and have the guy look it up, kind of like you were buying the part. They should also have the capability of printing that particular page out. Show page to service dept and tell them to fix it.

That takes effort, maybe even a phone call. It's so much easier to be a lazy fatazz behind a keyboard than it is to put effort into say walking or driving.
