while you are there get some superwhite bulbs for your headlights and fog lights.
You will not regret it.
I replaced my head lamps, fog, and reverse over a year ago. still burning strong. and I did it for about $40 at that site.

I got some Halogen reverse lights at Strauss about 7 years ago. They are much brighter. I needed them when I tinted out my back window. I think they were ten dollars each.

I would say about 200 to 300 % better.
they are nice and bright but not as much light as I want. I will still be adding a fog light for reverse.
without tinted windows I think they would be fine.

Summit Racing PN KCC-517, $69.95. From KC HiLites, with brackets and wires and stuff. I ran a seperate wire off the power distribution block and a relay activated by the back up lamps. Lights up the whole street.

I have the towing package on my truck. Wired a 7-pin plug into a relay so the reverse (yes, tow package wiring support reverse lighting for trailer!) applies the battery power (tow package supplies this for charging battery in trailer, I assume)through a fuse to two driving lights mounted under rear bumper.

I found the following color info on an RV web site. I tapped into the Violet/Black back-up and Black ground on the 7-Pin connector (came with tow package) on my '01 and it worked fine.

14White/Red FUSED B(+)
