Message: At 30K miles: Brake rotors and pads were shot. Replaced them. $300.00
At 40K miles, the transfer case broke. Front drive shaft CV boot broke, bearings failed. Took out the output shaft bearing in the transfer case. Had to rebuild the transfer case. $800.00.
At 50K miles, the idler pully bearings for the serp belt tensioner went. $100.00.
Had to have the rotors resurfaced (Pep Boys - $8.00)
At 60K miles, the rear end blew. Pinion shaft bearings were toast. $600.00.
The truck now has 62K miles on it and the ball joints are going and the water pump is making funny noises. It is locked in my garage and will be traded in right after Thanksgiving for something else besides a Dodge. I'm afraid to drive it before I get rid if it in fear that something else will break. I've never had this much bad luck with a vehicle in my life.

Message: After all the problems with my DAK I sold it a year ago. I finally saved up enough gold bars to get a full sized. Thought I was going to get a Ford. But that 6.0 Licks some major butt. And I am thinking about a dodge again. I can't belive it. I hope the body on these new rams last around the motor this time.

Message: I dumped my Toyata at the Dodge dealer. Still pretty reliable at over 100,000 miles but it was just about boring me to death. New Brakes at 30,000 ? I know our front brakes aren't the best, but it sounds like maybe you beat the hell out of your truck !

Message: Tired of all the bull with the truck and dealerships. In all my years of Ford i have never had as many problems as i am with the Crapsler dealers. Saving my money to Get a 04 F150 this spring. All the Crapsler dealers can say is that they cannot duplicate the problem.
