I think he means the thingy on the overhead console, that they cover up when they put in the highly inaccurate, trip computer.
Some people actually think it really gives an exactly right quantity when estimating MPG. Well, a few anyway, OK, one or two, OK, maybe somebody? LOL

yep you win the prize. Now what the heck do you clip with it? That's obviously what it's far as it is clearly labled "clip." Maybe there's some MOPAR part that gets clipped there that's missing from my truck. I bet it's pretty expensive too.

The salesman that sold me my truck didn't know what its for. He asked another salesman and he said it was to stick letters till you get to the postoffice, so I went to the parts department at my one, two, three, four, five star chrysler dealership and asked them. They didn't have the slightest idea??????????
I guess its just a clip to cover up an empty space in the console.
