 Subject: Ball Joints

I was told that my ball joints in my 02' Quad Cab are bad by a mechanic. I agree with him. The truck has 40000 miles on it and is out of warranty and they need to be replaced. Should I try to fight dodge to get them to do the repair or just get them fixxed and wait for a recall and try to get them to pay me back after? The upper control arm was also replaced at about 28000 miles.

No warranty = no care from Dodge.
If you raise a stink, maybe they'd give you a discount on the work. But don't hold your breath.

put in moogs from a 99 , they fit , you need to open the hole on the arms to 3/8" and that's it , also regreasable with zirk fitting .......part#k7242 for uppers
