Message: my sister has a 98 dodge durango the abs/brake light comes on she took it to the dealer theay told her it was the "cab controller" for the abs i need to know were it is and a part # if possable i know this is a dakota board but it was all i could find ....
Message: I'm thinkin' this controller is right there next to the master cylinder. However, if you're wanting to fix it yourself, that's a problem. It must be programmed to specs of the vehicle. No idea if this can be done with an aftermarket programmer. Anyone?
Message: Did they test it or just say that. I know most but not all fixes for this are the sensors.
I have replaced all sensors and I still have the problem.
I cant remember exactly but I think you need to order that CAB specific for the truck and tire size. As far as I remeber, I remember the book saying that the tire size may need to be progammed into it since it does not share this info from the PCM. The prceedure for re-programming it is in one of the books I do not have.
How much for on of those CAB units?
Never late for a Tee time or wheelin with my buddies! Always ready for both!!!
Message: if you need a new ABS controller, i have one for sale from a 1998 Dodge Dakota with rear wheel anti lock brakes. Your computer may need a re program for it but i am not sure... ask a dealer.
if it turns out this piece will work, i'll sell it CHEAP! (need to get rid of crap out of the garage)
