Subject: Will this go away? IP: Logged
Message: Well, our school won state champs in soccer. So I decided to lay a brake stand in the parking lot with my Dakota R/T. Now I theres a bump when I drive,im guessing I wore a flat spot in my front tires? Will this go away or do i need new sneakers for my truck?

Message: Here is what I did, I was doing about 5mph down a side road...I have about 5 kids in the bed..I lightly gave it some brake while moving...then floored it..I was basically doing a brake stand while moving down the road..now It seemsthat for every time the wheel spins, i get this little bump...almost like my tires arnt a perfect circle...Did I wear a flat spot in my front wheels? Could I have screwed up my brakes? Also will this go away or will I need to buy new tires/brakes?

Message: I've never had a tire make a FLAT spot from a burnout. Skidding can. One time I did a nasty burnout infront of a friends house with me old bad ass Mustang.
About 30 minutes later I get a knock at my front door. My friends holds out his hand and in it is approx a 3 to 4 inch ball. I thought it was a toy ball.
He says "Do you know what this is?" with a grin on his face.
I couldn't guess so he says "This is your tire!" I'm like "what?" I had no clue what he was talking about.
So he says "...Serious. This is your tire. I scraped it off of the road in front of my house. And there's a lot left on the street!"
So we go look outside at the street (he lived real close) and sure enough THICK rubber all over the road. Then we go look at my tires. NO TREAD was left. They were very soft compound tires and they now looked like racing slicks!
Anyway, you better check yor tires closely. You may have one seperating. And if that's the case it WILL blow out on you!
