 Subject: Shift Stick

I think that the stick shift is rotating in my 04QC4x4man5spd4.7L. Strange thing is that I don't see the boot rotating with the stick; yet the boot appears to be attached to the stick at its upper end. It has gone out about 90 degrees now. Has anyone else had this problem? What is the fix?

yeah its just loose, pull the boot off, and you need to grab a
wrench and crank it tight.. you may have to pull the end off
the shifter knob, and use a socket to have something to
turn it against.. I had this problem allot with one of my
ealier daks.. simple fix..
