 Subject: Drivers side seat release

This truck is new to me so I'm not sure if I have a problem or not. On my 2001 CC when I pull the lever on the back of the passengers seat, the back of the seat swings forward and the seat slides forward. When I do this on the drivers side the seat does not slide forward. Is this how it is supposed to work??? I would think both seats should slide to let someone out of the rear seats. Thanks for your help.

Most trucks have only one seat that moves forward to enable passengers to get in the rear.
