torque increase with 87 octane, thru the first 2500 RPMs, as you get with 93 octane, for a 91 5.9! Do you think this is valid? Thoughts on Hypertech vs Superchips?

Yeah, I think it's valid. I used the Hypertech on my 2001 5.9 and I'm very happy with the results. The Butt-O-Meter showed a definate improvement. I stuck with the 87 octane tune. I think the 91 octane tune only shows an improvement in the upper rpm ranges.
