 Subject: straps under QC rear seats?

When you fold uo the rear quadcab seats, what are those straps on the backside for? The steats are to short for a fishing pole. Maybe a rifle?

They are just for whatever you desire to use them for. Just for holding stuff. I haven't figured out a good use for 'em yet though.

If you're talking about the straps up behind the seats under the rear window I believe they are for the newer child seats that have the hook in the rear.

I use mine for bungie cords and my 3-d cell mag lite.
I wouldn't put a rifle there, that would mean having a concealed weapon which in California means straight to jail.
I play it safe and put my rifles in a case and lock them in my truck bed and lock the tononeu cover.

Hell, we just put them on a rack in our rear window!
Just Kidding, don't even own a rifle or handgun.
I sometimes put my folding whindshield shade under there.
Always did wonder what that was for.

Those 2 little velcro straps are for the emergency jack. Or are you talking about another set of straps?

No, where talking about when you fold up the back seats on a QC there are some straps on the bottom of the seats for something, maybe its just a 2001 year thing only. and where not talking about the jack or baby seat straps

Under? I have a 02 and no straps under. I do have some behind the headrest. I believe they are for childseats.
And as far as reading the owners manual ... what does it know? It says the center console has a light in it. Does anyone's 2002 center console have a light?
