Message: I have a 96 Sport V6. Stock wheel was 215/75/15. The Goodyear dealer installed 235/75/15 for me last inspection(They didn't have the 215's in stock and the 235 were a free upgrade). The 235's rub the frame rails when the steering wheel is locked left or right. The rub is minor enough that it does not cause any real interference. If you change to 235's you also need to change speed sensor. I have a 5 speed and it is located in the gearbox. Cost about $7.00 from the dealer with housing, gear, and O-ring.

Message: got an '00 QCV Sport 4x2 5 spd & went from 215/75/15's to w/ 235/75/15's no rub at all and didn't change my speed sensor. seems to be right on. do a search on here. some say you could go to 31x10.5x15's. serious speedo error though.
