Question -will rims from a 2000 Dak 16x8 fit on a 1996
Dakota? Any help would be great - thanks.
I was wondering if they rub or if there are any other
complications.

the wheels will fit, it's the tires you put on them that you will have to watch

No problem. Just watch the tire width and height. I've seen some nice GenII's with 17" R/T wheels, too. I had a '92 that was lowered 3" with 15x7 Centerlines with 245/60/15 front and 15x8 with 255/60/15 rear. Grab a tire chart and compare those.
