Subject: Altezza tail lights and Euro headlights IP: Logged
Message: 2 Part Question!!
I just put a set of euro headlights in and they come with a corner marker bulb and wire to splice in. I thought this was for under the year 2000 but my 2000 factory bulb housing just barely hangs in there. Did anyone out there do this same thing and if so did you need to splice their bulb socket in for a tighter fit?
Also I just put on carbon fiber altezza tail lights. Has anyone done this? I am asking since the gap from the quarter panel and the tail light is a larger gap than the factory tail lights had and I am conserned about water getting behind the tail light. Has anyone ran into this any fix or seal ideas? I think silicone would stand out too much. I might use an adhesive black silicon type of gasket that would compress. Any better ideas?
Any answers appreciated, Thank you,
