Message: I went to the dealer were he got my 2001 Quad 4x4 5.9 in today.The hood didn't have the insulation on it and the rear wheel wells didn't have undercoating on them.I'm going to undercoat the rear wheel wells myself but is the hood insulation that important or should I leave it without the insulation.
Message: I was (am) missing the insulation, too, but the more that I think about it, it seems that it would tend to keep the heat in the engine bay, anyway, so I'm not gonna sweat it.
Besides, if I DID have it, I'd never get to hear my intake!
