Message: All car based SUV's are not much more than a tall station wagon. People buy them though, mainly cuz they are cheap. RAV 4, Element, CRV, etc. Real trucks have real frames underneath.

My wife has the new Lexus RX 330 and my Bro-In-Law bought the new Infiniti FX45. They are excellent vehicles. They drive like real sport cars with the extra room of a small SUV or minivan. These vehicles are built on car frames and are excellent driving on snow, thru flooding, on sand, and light off-roading. They are awesome. If I did not have to haul household garbage and the occassional sheet of plywood or yard debris in the back of my truck, it would only be used to haul empty beer cans. 99% of the time the back of my truck is empty. That my friend is THE waste.

Message: The whole reason I got my Dak was because I was sick of the smell of moldy and rotting food and drinks from my backseat. Now I just toss it into the 6 1/2' trash can behind my seat.
When it fills up i'll have to trade it in on a new(er) one...

well my wifes boss bought an bmw x5 and he wont even haul 10 folding chairs to a seminar. where's the utility in that? i guess the 100 grand gives you that special social status. with a dak or ram u can haul people or stuff, i call that utility. not a over priced station wagon which no one wants to call a station wagon. all i'm saying its not a truck and people shoudnt call those things trucks.

What tickles my funny bone is those who drive a Range Rover or a Land Rover (two darn nice off road vehicles) and NEVER EVER take them off road and use them like they were made to be used.
Now that is a Waste !

Message: Dont forget about the suburban hummer. Woops H2, and now H3. Maybe by the time they make the H4 it will be a cavalier. I don't see the point of the suv. Crappy gas mileage, same room as a wagon, and they are over priced. SUV's give the truck market a bad name.

Message: The 'Bummer', opps I mean H2, is very overrated. Our company has one and I was unfortunate enough to get to drive it. Believe me, that is a waste. Spend about 10 to 15k less and get a decked out suburban. It is a much better ride, more room, and the A/C works at a stoplight.

Message: Speaking of 'trucks' that aren't trucks, I heard the truck that Honda is to come out with in a few years is a unibody, instead of a body on frame. Anyone hear anything about this? I could see the tards at Daimler pulling something like this to match their wonderful ball-joints and rotors.

ROFTHFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
These things are POS, and I mean capitol POS.
I never owned, or even driven one. Rode in one though. Wimply arsh suspension, little power, what a poser!!!
And to even think, Edmonds.com, actually uses tha Qquad dak as a comparison vehicle to this thing! It's not even in the same universe!
I enjoy the utility, and speed, of my HO modded, 4.7, 5spd, Quad cab, Slt, In finity sound, tinted window, Trailer towing, tire and handling package, with the cab high Leer shell on the bed. It's bad ass, hauls four adults, COMFORTABLY, and hauls ass!

JES,
The JEEP Commanche pickup that was built back in the late 80's and early 90's "featured" uni-body construction.
It was a near total flop.

Message: Dr. D proving once again he is full of shlt on just about everything.
The Commanche is the most successful unibody pickup in history and was an extremely well made and successful vehicle. It was cancelled in 1992, after 6 years of production, so it wouldn't compete with Dodge pick-ups, namely the Dakota. When it was cancelled it was selling just as well as the mid-size Dodge.
You should get a clue before typing out something stupid and proving your ignorance to all.
