Subject: Amazing! The non-seating transmission IP: Logged
Message: dip stick goes years back, yet that is still the way they make them. My 03 just kind of loosely sits there, however, the tube is so long no fluid comes out. I just can't believe this company!

| When searching TSBs I discovered the dip stick for IP: Logged
Message: Dak auto trannys doesn't seat (seal at the top). It just kind of sits there loose. Consumers have complained because they have lost fluid out of the tube at high speeds. Mine only goes on about half way and it is an 03 yet this problem has exsisted for years. How hard (how much could it cost) would it be to make the assembly like GM or Ford?

Message: If it's that big of a deal to you, why don't you just change it? Call the folks at Lokar and get a new dipstick, and then swap out yours for something better.
That's the nice thing about the aftermarket. If there's something you don't like about your car/truck/bike, just change it.
