I bought a used Lund Exterminator bug shield to put on my 2003 Dak CC. How do you loosen the front grill so the center piece will fit in? I have looked at the back of the grill and only see small gold looking screws. They look like they are torx head (male).

I have bought a 3 piece for my 01 QC, haven't put it on yet. But I looked at the instructions, and you have to remove/loosen the torx screws. Mine, from the DC dealer here, says you have to drill some holes under the edge of the hood too.

I didn't have to drill at all on my 2002 Dak, there are a series of nuts along the top of the grill (behind it) that I had to loosen... If i have time I'll see about getting a a pic of it (but I make no promises).
