Subject: Power Loss after 20 minutes IP: Logged
Message: When I drive for about 20 minutes and step on the accelerator, I have no power at all. The engine is running but no response. After I let it set for awhile, it will crank back up and run for awhile and then no power again. Computer has been replaced but problem remains. Any ideas as to what is the problem.

Message: It could be a clogged concatalytic converter. The symtoms you describe point to that. The converter is honey comb inside and it get really hot. If the engine runs to rich it can make it so hot that the inside melts into a sold mess then clogs the exhaust from comming out. when its cool it will contract enough to let the exhaust out. Have a dealer or a mechanic look at it.

Message: More likely is a dirty fuel filter restricting flow.
