Message: I have a 98 3.9 4*4 that has problems shifting from 2nd to 3rd. The truck lacks power. After driving it a while, if I put it into nuetral, the idol shoots up to a minimum of 3 thousand rpms by itself. I then quickly shut it off thinking its gonna blow. It must be a sensor but not sure. I dont know and need help
