I have a 2001QC 4x4 4.7. And I need to order filter for auto trans, gone a do a fluid change. How can I tell if my trans is a 45re,46,or what?

there should be a sticker on the drivers side top of the transmission that tells you weather it is a 45re or a 545rfe those are the 2 trannys offered on the 2001. it will also tell you on your window sticker if you still have it.

You should have the 45RFE transmission. I have an '01 CC with 4.7/auto and that was the only auto transmission offered with that engine. I wish I could have ordered the 545RFE!!!!! The '01 Service Manual only covers the 45RFE. I removed the ID decal from the transmission soon after getting the truck before it got lost or damaged. It was on the drivers side.
