Hmmm...Yes I wish i had an over-size box with wheels that might flip over on any sharp turn.
I've seen Kia's with bigger engines.
Long live the Dakota

Message: I once went over some railroad tracks at 70 mph and I got good airtime with my Dakota. I also "launched" my Dakota over a dip in an intersection. I got the wheels, both front and back, about 3 feet in the air. I guesse I am a chronic Dakota Launcher.
Happy Suckma To You To!!

Message: There's a road near me with a place that 100 will make any car catch air and the hill will catch it on the downside, 120 might overshoot the landing and hurt alot though :)

Message: Before I owned my R/T, I drove a 1986 Toyota 4x4 with just about every piece of off-roading gear imaginable - I spent a lot of time crawling up Colorado mountains. Near the S gate of Buckley AFB there's a huge dirt area with a ravine where people take their motorcross bikes or trucks and go whoopin' it up. The ravine is wide/angled enough so that you could launch rather high if you gunned it down one side and then up the other. Friends watching from other trucks said my highest jump was having bottom of my 33" tires 6 feet off the ground. Once I landed so hard that it sheared the 8 bolts holding my monstrous light bar through the bed, catapulting it onto the ground. I had to have custom steel plates built so I could put the bar back in, and my rear suspension had to be completely rebuilt a few months later... but boy was it fun!

Message: SavaTruck, that looks like FUN! It looks like your Dak is jumping for joy! Yours is the healthiest response to all this bullshît that's been flying around this site lately I've read yet.
Keep on jumpin'!
