i installed some PIAA fog lights, everything seem to work fine, but one light is brighter than the other. Could it be the bulbs going out or a wiring problem?

Try researching fog lights here on the board. I just recently installed after market fog lights and I remember this same problem when I was doing my research but I don't remember what the cause was--good luck

i have those as well and also noticed one bulb is slightly brighter than the other

Problem solved! found what the problem was, the "ground" wire was loose in the dim light, that was it. I opened the light and then noticed the ground wire was unplugged, fixed it and bingo! everything is fine now.
